The 38th annual event gives “Tinsel Town” a whole new meaning.

Lights, camera, action! The 38th annual Dana Point Harbor Boat Parade of Lights gets even more glamorous this year with its theme, “A Hollywood Holiday.” Boats of all sizes cruise the harbor decked out in lights and decorations competing for various awards and prizes in categories such as Best Sailboat, Most Original and Best Use of Lights. The parade runs Dec. 7-8 and 14-15 beginning at 7:30 pm. Those wishing to be a part of the festivities can board one of Dana Wharf Sportfishing’s vessels as its fleet puts on its holiday best vying for attention from the judges.
