July 4. The granddaddy of all SoCal Fourth of July celebrations once again returns to the Rose Bowl for the 92nd annual AmericaFest. Kaboom! Fairplex Pomona
July 4. If fireworks aren’t enough excitement for you, head to the Fairplex for the annual Kaboom! monster trucks and motocross show. One lucky monster truck will attempt to do a backflip for the grand finale. Marina del Rey Block Party
July 4. Food, drinks, music and games will be had all day seaside at and around the Marina del Rey Hotel. Sixteen breweries will offer tastings, while a DJ spins tunes on the Pool Deck.
