San Diego International Boat Show
June 7-10. More than 140 boats, from entry-level family cruisers and luxury yachts to sailboats, are on display to browse, board and buy at this premier southwest boat show. Attendees can also browse the on-land expo to view and test the latest marine accessories, services and electronics. Additional highlights include workshops and seminars, a variety of cuisine from the area’s most popular food trucks, a floating tiki bar, Anchors and Ales beer garden and live entertainment. Avolution Fest
June 9. 
Enjoy all things avocado at this outdoor festival. Highlights include live performances by Wild Belle, Baynk, and The Young Wild; avocado-inspired art installations; and an avocado-centric menu created by San Diego’s own Sam the Cooking Guy. Ticket price covers admission, food and drinks available at an additional cost. 5-10 p.m. $25. Quartyard, 1301 Market St., East Village.




Global Wellness Day
June 9.
 Celebrate Global Wellness Day—a non-profit educational event held in over 100 different countries around the world—in our own village of La Jolla. Start the day with a preview of the new Spa La V at La Valencia, then head to a free yoga class on the Garden Terrace overlooking the pool. After that, explore the 18 different wellness-oriented businesses that are having special offers, programs and presentations. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Free. La Valencia, 1132 Prospect St., La Jolla.



Saint Archer’s Fifth Anniversary Party
June 9. San Diego’s own Saint Archer Brewing Company is turning five! Celebrate at their original Miramar tasting room with live music from The White Buffalo and Dead Feather Moon, food trucks, games, raffles, drink specials, brewery tours and a special anniversary beer release. Sea to Shining Sea
June 9. Join Connected Warriors to kick off the summer aboard the longest-serving aircraft carrier in the 20th century—the USS Midway. Enjoy a morning full of patriotism, live music by DTO and yoga classes with meditations on the flight deck of the Midway, all benefiting veterans organizations. KEX Fest
June 10.
 Spend your Sunday at Kettner Exchange’s second annual KEX Fest. Features include cuisine from award-winning executive chef Brian Redzikowski, cocktails by beverage director Steven Tuttle, a made-to-order ceviche station, a pop-up Bao St. Bun shop and much more. Kids Carnival and Brunch
June 10. Bring the whole family to Farmer & The Seahorse for this carnival-themed brunch complete with balloon art, face painting, outdoor games, a petting zoo and specialty cocktails for adults. Indulge in carnival-inspired treats such as corn dogs, cotton candy and french fries, as well as traditional brunch staples like a build-your-own-waffle station, scrambled eggs, bacon and fresh, seasonal fruit. Topside Brunch and Fashion Pop-Up

Yoga After Dark Festival
June 10. 
Bend, balance and dance at San Diego’s first yoga silent disco. Gather on your mat with individual noise-canceling headphones accompanied by mood music by DJ Mango Jennings, while also tuning in to the instructor provided by Sojourn Healing Collective, for a vinyasa flow class. 6:30-9:30 p.m. $30 GA, $45 VIP. Cauldron Ice Cream Arrives in San Diego
Opens June 9. Known for its made-to-order liquid nitrogen ice cream and Instagram-famous OG Puffle Cone, Cauldron has arrived in San Diego. Festivities to celebrate their opening include free merchandise for the first 100 people in line, as well as additional giveaways all night long. 6 p.m.-midnight. JuneShine Grand Opening
June 9. Experience California’s first organic hard kombucha bar and brewery in North Park. National Rosé Day at Provisional Kitchen

Negroni Week at Grant Grill
Through June 10. In honor of National Negroni Week, Grant Grill is offering a special Sideways Negroni. Inspired by the California wine cult classic, this Negroni features St. George “Terroir” Gin, Campari, Domaine Santé “All-Sass” California wine grape nectar and sparkling California pinot noir with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the Surfrider Foundation. William L. Hawkins “An Imaginative Geography”
Opens June 9. Witness the Mingei International Museum’s final exhibition before closing for a year-long transformation. More than 60 of William L. Hawkins’ most iconic paintings, drawings and sculptures will be on display featuring a collection of landscapes, cityscapes, historical scenes and exotic wild animals in representation of the world as he saw it.
