1. Caffe Calabria

After numerous trips to Italy and hours of work, Caffe Calabria has perfected their house-roasted coffee. Enjoy your espresso with Bread and Cie pastries delivered daily or come back Wednesday through Saturday to try the Neapolitan pizza. 2. Communal Coffee

Known for their Instagram-famous ‘Coffee + Flowers’ sign, Communal Coffee has just opened a second location in South Park. Both outposts serve San Francisco’s Sightglass coffee and have flowers from Native Poppy for sale. Enjoy signature drinks like lavender honey and rose vanilla lattes alongside a variety of toasts ranging from avocado with egg to caprese.

3. Heartwork Coffee Bar

Located in the charming Mission Hills neighborhood, Heartwork Coffee Bar offers a variety of options from specialty coffees to a ‘Not Coffee’ section for those who could do without the caffeine. Co-owner Rob Moran sources his coffee beans from local companies James Coffee Co. and Dark Horse Coffee Roasters, but also occasionally featuring out-of-town roasters.

4. Dark Horse Coffee Roasters

Found in bakeries and restaurants all over San Diego, Dark Horse’s shops have all of your coffee needs covered from cold brew on nitro to espresso drinks like “The Champ.” Don’t forget to grab one of their housemade vegan donuts for the perfect pairing. Dark Horse also offers coffee subscriptions to have their coffee delivered every other week or monthly.
