Laguna Beach Music Festival: From Brooklyn With Love
Feb. 3-9. This year’s festival brings musicians from Brooklyn and Los Angeles to present a diverse range of concerts and events in Laguna Beach. Hear classical music to contemporary and avant-garde new works coming out of the Brooklyn scene. Hanji: Contemporary Korean Paper Art
Opens Feb. 6. Hanji, traditional handmade Korean paper is renowned for its fine quality and durability. James and the Giant Peach
Feb. 7-23. First, a rhinoceros eats James’ parents. Then, he is sent to live with his awful aunts. Beethoven: The Late Great
Opens Feb. 8. View rare Beethoven artifacts curated by Dr. William Meredith, Director of the Beethoven Center at San Jose State University, including a personal letter and drafts of personal scores in Beethoven’s own handwriting from the Library of Congress never exhibited on the West Coast, the composer’s life mask of 1812, locks of his hair and his  household account leaf.
