Mar. 30-31. Easter Weekend promises to be an “egg”citing time at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort as they host their 21st annual celebration.  The fun begins on Saturday, March 30. More than 6,000 eggs will be hidden with some containing candy and some containing toys. The public is invited at no cost to participate in the hunt, which will be officiated by the Easter Bunny, who will be available for photos. Enjoy a breakfast buffet of pancakes, bacon, fruit, juice and coffee, $12 for adults and $7 for children under 12. Easter Sunday, March 31, will kickoff with a Champagne brunch at the Back Bay Bistro. The extravagant brunch buffet will include endless Champagne and Mimosas as well as Eggs Benedict, make-your-own omelet station, French toast, a carving station with prime rib or roasted turkey, an array of fresh seafood including grilled salmon, shrimp and crab legs and a chocolate fountain with fresh strawberries, marshmallows and other delights.
