St. Patrick’s Day Parade And Festival
Mar. 15. 
Festivities begin two days ahead of the official holiday with more than 120 parade entries, including marching bands, floats, police and fire department units, the Emerald Societies, clowns and bagpipe contingents. The day begins with a flag raising ceremony followed by an Irish festival complete with a Celtic village, beer garden, live music and dancing. Shamrock 2014
Mar. 15. The Gaslamp Quarter transforms with the luck of the Irish into the greenest party this side of Dublin as more than 60,000 square feet of Astroturf turns the streets into an outdoor Irish pub. The annual block party features live DJs and Irish bands on four themed stages, plus Irish fare, dancing, beer and specialty drinks at dozens of participating bars and restaurants. 21+. 4 p.m.-midnight. St. Patrick’s Day 10K Run
Mar. 15. Whether you opt for the 10K or the 2- or 4-mile course, start your St. Patrick’s Day celebration off with some exercise. All participants will receive a race t-shirt, pizza and beer. Irish 4 a Day
Mar. 15.
 Paint the town green at more than 18 of downtown’s best nightclubs, bars and Irish pubs. Tickets include waived cover at each location, 11 welcome shots, a route guided by Irish fairies and an after hours party at Area 51 Ultra Lounge. North County St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival
Mar. 16. The third annual North County St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival will take over Vista’s historic downtown area with a parade, vendors, entertainment and children’s crafts and activities. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Parade at 11 a.m. Indiana Avenue and Main Street. vvba.org

Celtic Music Festival
Mar. 17.
