Enjoy the beautiful views of Mission Bay while sipping your favorite local brews and listening to incredible music. This inaugural event will feature local craft breweries including Karl Strauss, Green Flash, Ballast Point and Lightning Brewery, gourmet food trucks and live entertainment. Mar. 30. Head to North Park and South Park for this monthly, unofficial restaurant crawl. On the 30th of each month, various restaurants and bars located on 30th street offer food and drink specials, allowing patrons to check out all the amazing places on the 30th street corridor. Mar. 31. Learn to cook from the masters. Executive Chef Simon Dolinky and his libation counterpart Master Mixologist Erin Williams, both of downtown’s Saltbox, are hosting a cooking demonstration and tasting. Open to the public, the afternoon class centers on the theme of infusion, where guests will learn how to create simple infusions that can be used in cocktails and savory preparations.  The hands-on, informal class goes from 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. $30 per person. See more than 2,000 cars at indoor and outdoor car shows, meet Hot Rod Heroes Ed Iskenderian and Ed Pink and explore vendor exhibits. Nightly parties, a special woody exhibit, live music and a model car show round out this weekend event. Mar. 31-Apr. 1. Collegiate, junior and masters athletes will return to the sun-kissed water of Mission Bay for the 39th renewal of the Crew Classic and compete in more than 100 races over two days. Across seven lanes, they will race for early season honors and coveted trophies. Spectators will enjoy amenities such as the shore-side tent row for alumni and clubs, the jumbotron displaying races start to finish, a beer garden on the sand and much more. Through Apr. 8. This humorous and heart breaking world premiere play received an Edgerton Foundation New American Plays award. Part satire and part parable, Tortilla Curtain follows the interaction between Delaney Mossbacher, a nature writer and staunch environmentalist, and Cándido Rincón and his sister-in-law América, undocumented immigrants from Mexico who live in a ravine at the bottom of a canyon. One summer day, Delaney, driving up the narrow, twisting canyon road, hits Cándido with his car.
