Chaya Brasserie Beverly HillsChaya Brasserie Beverly Hills

After a brief week-long closure Chaya Brasserie has recently reopened with new Executive Chef Harutaka Kishi, and two dining concepts. Chef Haru, most recently of Gordon Ramsay’s London in West Hollywood, has worked with some of the world’s most renowned restaurants under top chefs such as Joël Robuchon and Gordon Ramsay. Born in Paris to Japanese parents and cooking throughout Europe and Japan, he’s definitely situated to jump into the CHAYA concept. Chef Haru offers two distinct dining experiences at the restaurant. CHAYA Brasserie exclusively features Chef Haru’s tasting menus ($39/3 courses, $65/5 courses) that change weekly depending on what is in season (think King Prawn Risotto, or Chicken Noodle Soup with Foie Gras Ravioli and Shishito Peppers); while La Petite CHAYA, a more casual bistro space, offers a shareable plates menu that includes highlights such as Yellowtail Mole, Hokkaido Scallop Pot Pie, and CHAYA’s signature Tuna Tartare circa 1984. 8741 Alden Drive, Beverly Hills, 310.859.8833. www.thechaya.com
