Kogi Taqueria
Roy Choi brings his first brick and mortar Kogi concept to Palms. The taqueria soft opened on Tuesday and needs you to help them “work out the kinks” (according to Roy Choi’s instagram account) for the rest of the week in time for their official opening Saturday. Inotheke Winemaker Dinner
April 19. Inotheke’s Chef Carolos Tomazos presents six courses of modern Greek cuisine paired with six wines from Greece’s award-winning Gerovassiliou estate presented by Winemaker Thrass Giantsidis. Barcito
April 19. Stop by the downtown bar for their Green Carpet event from 6-9 p.m. for cocktail hour with a gift card raffle as well as a preview of Aperitivo Hour snacks (Barcito’s new Happy Hour launching in May). Barcito is also the latest restaurant to move to a “hospitality included,” which also launches on April 19. Passover
Get your fill of traditional Passover menus taken up a notch at restaurants around Los Angeles. At Culina, Chef Denis Dello Stritto has created a Passover dinner menu with familiar offerings with Italian influences like matzah ball soup with chicken and vegetable broth with a thyme and chive matzah ball; Jidori chicken with mushrooms and horseradish fingerling potatoes; cobia with sautéed brussels sprouts and carrot puree; or sliced tri-tip steak with wild arugula and cherry tomatoes (April 22-24). Bouchon Bistro serves a three-course plated Passover dinner with a focal point of braised lamb shank with bulgur wheat, pearl onions dried apricots and garden mint; and refreshing pomegranate sorbet with marinated strawberries, toasted almond streusel and ganache montée for dessert (April 22). You can also find a la carte Kosher dishes like matzo ball soup, pomegranate-glazed salmon and chocolate budino at Taste on Melrose.

April 25. The team at two-Michelin Star Caprice at Four Seasons Hotel Hong arrives at THE Blvd at Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel for one night only. The night not only includes cuisine and hospitality from the award-winning restaurant but also features the look and feel of the restaurant. THE Blvd is partnering with local design company Reverly Event Designers to bring in Modern Chinoiserie décor that aims to make you feel like you’ve escaped LA and are enjoying a taste of France in the heart of Hong Kong.
