Hanjip
Chef Chris Oh (Seoul Sausage) takes Korean BBQ to new nights in downtown Culver City, along with Restaurateur Stephane Bombet at new Hanjip. The centerpiece of the menu are top selections of meat and seafood and creative banchan accompaniments. It’s broken down into beef, pork and Chef’s Cuts like beef tongue, spiced lamb, intestines, hamachi collar and some of the most giant (Carabineros) prawns you’ve ever seen. You can also go all out for a tomahawk steak served with foie gras butter, or combos of some of the menus more popular pork and beef offerings. Lunch specials bring forth a selection of traditional soups: braised short rib, spicy beef noodle, cold beef noodle and soon tofu, in addition to bibimap. Want a bonus? You can always add a uni-steamed egg. 3829 Main St., Culver City, 323.720.8840. hanjip.com
