L’Epicerie Market Offers Delicious Dining in Culver City All Day Long

L’Epicerie MarketThe French-inspired cafe-shop combo offers delicious dining choices from breakfast through dinner including a selection of crepes (smoked salmon, ham, bacon or grilled seasonal vegetables), eggs Florentine with housemade Linguiça (Portuguese sausage), sandwiches for lunch, tapas, and dinner entrees such as beef bourguignon and cassoulet. Stop by throughout the day for some of the most freshly brewed coffee, as L’Epicerie has partnered with City Bean Coffee to offer an innovative, single-cup coffee brew system. The retail component offers more than 150 wines and European food items, plus a tasting bar for sampling wine, cheese and charcuterie. Find a daily happy hour from 4-7 p.m. that includes a special sections of tapas, bubbly, wine and beer at $3 each.

The market will begin hosting monthly dinners starting February 7, featuring wines from around the world paired with L’Epicerie’s French-inspired cuisine. Owner Thierry Perez’s first dinner will feature Paitin Winery, which lies in the heart of the Piedmont wine region of Italy, where the family has been producing world-class wines since 1976. L’Epicerie will also be offering a special tasting menu to complement the wine selections, including some of the market’s signature small plates such as Tuna Basquaise and Beef Bourguignon. The evenings wine selections include the 2008 Dolcetto d’Alba, 2007 Barbera d’Alba Campolive, 2006 Langhe Rosso Paitin, and 2006 Barbaresco Serra. Cost is $30 per person, includes tasting menu and Paitin wines, exclusive of tax and gratuity
